Yet again we have another issue with timing here. DDP was unmistakably one of the biggest names in the entire wrestling world in the 1990s as WCW's People's Champion and master of the Diamond Cutter. After that frankly confusing stalker angle with The Undertaker and his wife, Dallas was demoted to the mid card as a reincarnation of the Positively Page character. He would leave WWE less than two years after making the move from the deceased World Championship Wrestling. He made his one and only Rumble appearance at the 2002 event, entering at number 13. His time in the ring was largely uneventful as he was eliminated by his WrestleMania X8 rival Christian after just five minutes of action. DDP did manage to get an elimination of his own when he sent Scotty 2 Hotty flying over the top rope.
