10 Insane Moves WWE Will Make To Save 2020

8. Have Otis Cash In On Drew McIntyre

Nobody would see it coming.

That'd be the sole motivation for WWE flipping Otis heel or, worse, trying to keep him babyface after cashing in his Money In The Bank opportunity on Drew McIntyre.

In the 'Scottish Psychopath', the company finally seem to have found a hero figure that won't get booed even when fans are back in the buildings, while the Heavy Machinery man was gathering similar steam himself before the audience disappeared. WWE are due a cash-in that actually gets people talking, particularly due to the last few carrying with them such a frustrating sense of inevitability. Edge's original use of the case in 2006 resulted in Raw's biggest numbers in years. Could Otis repeat the feat?

It's been a long, long time since such a thing was able to capture the audience as a whole. At least not with the only tangible audience reacting from their own version of isolation. Society via social media and other means has fragmented, but nobody would it see it coming. Maybe that, for the first time in an age, might equal ratings?

Or if not...
