10 Insane Moves WWE Will Make To Save 2020

9. Find A Crowd For SummerSlam

It is no longer Boston's job to find butts for seats for SummerSlam, but WWE's task to find a location that will allow such frippery.

That'll surely be Vince McMahon's attitude if he's allowed to have his way with the 'Biggest Party Of The Summer', anyway. The manner WWE has settled into this Empty Arena has, ironically, been rather unsettling. Continuing to run shows appeared quite stubborn in the face of obvious obstacles, but continue they have. As the industry leader, they - by accident or design - empowered AEW to do the exact same thing, with both mainstream North American organisations only looking worse for their choices.

In WWE's case, it took a piece of legislature going through in Florida to keep at this. WrestleMania was taped on a super-tight schedule as the state prepared to take proper action, but the company appear to have found their footing with a live/taped combination ever since.

None of this is good, but WWE will surely look to expedite a return to normality at the earliest possible convenience. If a building is willing to take a chance on selling tickets again, the August staple could be just the show to step in to the poisoned position.
