During the latter portion of his run in World Championship Wrestling, Scott Hall's life was a mess. Even though he was still under contract to the promotion, Hall rarely appeared. Instead, he was in and out of rehab facilities, looking to get his life back on track. When he wasn't in rehabilitation, Hall was drinking heavily and getting himself into trouble. In 1998, the guy keyed someone's car outside of a nightclub. He was arrested over the incident, and it was revealed that the vehicle belonged to a woman who had been inside the same bar as the wrestler. Hall claimed that he didn't know her, but was simply on the rampage and in a destructive mood. The vehicle in question was a limousine, which only made the situation worse. At this point in time, Hall was trying to gain custody of his children, and badly scratching up the car in question didn't help that. Even worse, the wrestler violated his probation after the arrest, causing more problems for himself.
