The ESPN anchor claims that the chairman hired some cops to arrest him on the grounds that he was running an illegal gambling pool - he had set up a football betting competition for the roster, on the advice of Jerry Brisco - leading to him being carted away in a police car in front of all the fans.

After a mile, the cops turned around and took Coach back to the arena, where he was greeted by Vince and the rest of the WWE roster celebrating one of their most successful practical jokes ever.

In many companies, this would have been an issue for HR, but Coach - knowing it was part and parcel of being on the road with Vince - took it in good spirit, once he had finished, in his words, "crying" for 10 minutes on his lonesome.
