To be fair to Vince McMahon, between Raw, SmackDown and the various developmental outposts, there are a lot of wrestlers under his employ, and he's bound to mix some of the lesser-known ones up every now and then.

On the other hand, Michael Tarver - the man he supposedly once mistook for Shelton Benjamin - doesn't really look all that much like the former Team Angle member save for the fact that they're both black.

Still - so we're lead to believe - it was during a meeting on the eve of Great American Bash 2008, in which Vince was to tell his superstars they were about to start having to abide by PG rules, that he responded, "excellent question, Shelton" to a query from the yet-to-be called up rookie.

The whole room immediately began laughing in unison, with Vince apparently left completely perplexed. He's either a brilliant deadpan comedian, or even more out of touch with his product than fans think
