Everyone knew that a straight one-on-one match between Brock Lesnar and Kofi Kingston at Beast in the East would be a one-sided affair. The expectation would be lots of suplexes and F5s from Brock and pretty much nothing from Kofi. That's exactly what we got.

There's nothing wrong with beatdowns like this in wrestling. It showcases Brock more as the attraction that he is, protecting his overall value. Everything he's done in and out of the squared circle has cultivated him into the current super-draw that he is...and good for him for getting to that level.

But even though Kofi was not going to get out of this affair without bumping, that first German suplex alone earned him his paycheck for the night. The term 'folding up like an accordion' has never been more appropriate than in this moment.
