10 Insane WWE Dream Matches That Could Realistically Happen In 2020
5. The Fiend Vs. Goldberg
Rumours have been swirling around the internet that we may in fact be getting this 'dream match' sooner rather than later, and by the time you read this it may have already come to fruition.
Super Showdown is right around the corner and Goldberg (appearing for the last time on this list, I promise) has been mooted to potentially take on Bray Wyatt's terrifying 'Fiend' at the event - possibly for the Universal title?
Now, this is undoubtedly a match which would drum up significant interest and it's one that many never thought they would (or needed to) see take place.
Wyatt adding Goldberg's face to his wall-of-change/fame would definitely be fun to experience and the former 'Eater of Worlds' mentally scarring 'Da Man' for a few weeks would at least occupy us until post-Saudi 'Mania season.
Does the programme have any legs after a one-off match-up? Probably not. But, it doesn't need to.
Much like The Undertaker's match with Goldberg at last year's Super Showdown, this can be a one and done showpiece event...let's just hope the match quality is a far-cry from that infamous senile-showdown.
Goldberg being cut-off mid-'You're NEXT!' by The Fiend's screech would be enough for your writer to giddily jump up and down at the prospect of this now realistic 'dream match' and at the end of the day... what more can you ask for from your pro wrestling?
