10 Insane WWE Stunts That Were Totally Pointless

6. Ric's Raw Rage

Now married for the fifth time, Ric Flair has demonstrated bizarre durability in his personal life in a way otherwise unseen in the decade since he dramatically bid farewell to his WWE career. Back then, he was attempting to prove his professional worth. To his credit, an unfathomably brutal Monday Night Raw TLC match that at least afforded Edge one memorable in-ring moment from his first ever title reign that didn't involve velvet bedsheets.

Like similar feats of violence pre-dating 2008, the match is the subject of contention for WWE Network censors in 2018, thanks to the excessive blood from Flair, and a hearty reliance on chair shots to the head from both. It's subsequently been somewhat lost to time, despite the bonkers ladder and table bumps from the 'Nature Boy'.

Exhibiting exactly why wrestlers like Edge found their careers cut short, a few more matches like this for Flair would have certainly reduced 'The Nature Boy's earning potential in the years that followed - years he vitally needed considering the financial health he found himself in after stretching even TNA's tolerance for his blade-n-banter battles.
