In looking back, I strongly feel that being a student of the game was by far Triple Hs greatest asset during those early years. It was apparent to anyone who was ever around him, HUNTER LOVED WRESTLING, and he forever wanted all the knowledge that he could intake. He would watch the others matches closely, examine under a microscope what the main eventers were doing when in the ring. He had the intelligence to know that in order to be one of them, you have to completely study them, examine then and take note. He would constantly be talking to the boys backstage, and the agents. Back then, when he was just starting out, Killer Kowalski, the legend who trained Triple H, would be at many of the tapings. After each of his matches I would witness first hand Hunter going to Kowalski and sitting on every word that came from his teachers mouth. He was just a sponge, just wanted to learn every second, of every day.
