10 Japanese Wrestlers You Must See Before You Die

9. Minoru Suzuki

Why you must watch him: Imagine Brock Lesnar with the personality of a self-absorbed macho jock who thinks (and knows) he€™s better than you and lets you know about it every chance he gets. Minoru Suzuki is the kind of character that, no matter how smart you might consider yourself to be, will rub you the wrong way and illicit a negative reaction. He€™s the antithesis of traditional Japanese wrestling; he plays such an outlandish and ridiculously over-the-top heel that the audience cannot help but boo him. Of course, Suzuki€™s entire gimmick is that, not only does he know he€™s better than you, but he€™ll prove it with his legitimate fighting skills. His ended his MMA career with a 29-19 record, which included wins against some truly high-profile mixed martial artists like Ken Shamrock and Masakatsu Funaki.
