From the first leader of Bullet Club to the man at the helm as enter the last quarter of 2016, John Cena vs. Kenny Omega is a true cross-promotional dream match of the modern age. Omega recently became the first gaijin winner of the G1 Climax and is all set to face Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 11, where many believe he will defeat the Rainmaker and become the megastar he deserves to be in the process.

As we are unlikely to see Omega turn up in WWE any time soon this one is left in the 'dream' pile, but if my parents said I can dream then darnit I will. Omega has truly excelled in his heel Bullet Club role this year, with major wins over Hiroshi Tanahashi, Tetsuya Naito and others under his belt.

He's also one of the top wrestlers in the world right now, with everything from his mannerisms to his in-ring psychology at elite levels. Omega could have a great match with a child (he legitimately has), so putting him in the ring with Big Match John is guaranteed magic.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
