10 John Cena Matches You Should Watch Again

5. Vs Cesaro - WWE Raw 2014

A simply magnificent contest between two of WWE's very best performers, Cesaro found himself on the precipice of a massive babyface turn in his 'Real Americans' team with Jack Swagger, having just defeated WWE Champion Randy Orton and finding himself booked in that month's Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View main event.

Pitched against fellow chamber-mate John Cena on the home stretch to the last traditional Pay-Per-View of the pre-WWE Network era, Cesaro had an opportunity to make himself look like a genuine contender amongst former World Champion opponents Orton, Christian, Sheamus and Daniel Bryan.

Proving once again why he has always earned his place at the top of the WWE mountain, Cena went move for move with the 'Swiss Superman' in a dynamic endurance battle.

Taking place in Denver, Colorado, the story revolved the two men's incredible conditioning in dealing with the altitude, allowing their respective strength and later fatigue to play a huge part in the match.

With several memorable spots (including a jaw-dropping superplex from the outside into the ring from Cesaro) this hidden epic should have helped the 'King of Swing' much more than it did in his disappointing post-Wrestlemania run with Paul Heyman.
