1. This Entrant Number Has Won The Rumble 2 Of The Last 3 Years (19 - Roman Reigns)
While it came with a cascade of boo's, Roman Reigns was the winner of the 2015 Royal Rumble match. For the second year in a row, the WWE seem to have spat in the face of the fans that help pay the bills. It remains to be seen if the main event of Wrestlemania is tweaked again this year (there will be a future article in regards to that), at least the sit down with Reigns, Brock Lesnar, and Paul Heyman was done really well to ease the minds of the critics that this could be a good main event. Reigns won the Royal Rumble match from the #19 spot this year, and that seems to be the new hotspot to win a Royal Rumble from. Just two years prior, John Cena won the Royal Rumble match from spot #19, and that was the first time ever that the Royal Rumble has been won from that position. Winning from entrant #19 joins numbers 1, 2, 22, 24, 27, 28, 29, and 30 as entrants that have produced multiple winners. It will be interesting to see if #19 will eventually become the new 24 or 27.
