Rey Mysterio's first pay-per-view match in WWE was against Kurt Angle at SummerSlam in 2002, and whilst WWE faffs around trying to 'replace' Rey they are missing the updated 2015 version that is staring them right in the face (albeit through a mask). Kalisto is one of the finest luchadores working in the States today, and has been able to bring a lot of that through to WWE. He's even managed to gain crowd support despite being tied to the DOA Sin Cara character. Professional wrestling loves symmetry, and re-introducing Angle against Kalisto at a special event would be symmetry of the finest kind. Sure, Kurt might not be as quick as he once was but he is still a general to say the least. Taking the Angle/Rey SummerSlam match as a guide, it is fair to say that Angle's half of that match wouldn't suffer for the years in between. Rey's side would be updated with Kalisto. Kurt Angle vs. Flying Cruiserweight is a match up that never, ever gets tired. Kurt Angle vs. The Best Flying Cruiserweight the WWE has would be dynamite.
