This one really is unbelievable. The Miz, the runner up in the 2004 Tough Enough, one of the most mediocre wrestlers of his generation, going into the WrestleMania 27 main event as champion. But it gets so much worse than that. Not only did he main event, he retained his championship over John Cena. The biggest franchise star in the company did a job for The Miz in the Mania show closing main event. Granted, The Rock cost Cena the match, and it set up the monumental Cena Rock match, but it doesn't change the fact hat someone like Miz main evented and won at WrestleMania. It is as lame as it gets, so much so, that CM Punk actually thought about quitting the company. This was Punk's dream. He wasn't good enough to show close Mania, but Miz was? It was a shocking booking.
