10 Lamest WWE WrestleMania Main Eventers

7. Sid Justice - WrestleMania 8

The obvious main event for Vince McMahon to book at WrestleMania 8 was Hulk Hogan versus Ric Flair, a mega collision between the biggest star of the north and the biggest star of the south. But it didn't happen. Instead, WWF went with Sid Justice in the main event against Hulk Hogan. It wasn't even for the title, it was a show closer based on feuding. It didn't stand a chance of getting over, not after Roddy Piper versus Bret Hart on the undercard, and what should have been the real main event with Randy Savage beating Ric Flair for the WWF Title in the midcard. Sid was in there simply because he was physically big, and because he could do a job for Hogan. But even that job was only a DQ loss. With all of that considered, Sid's Mania 8 role has to be considered one of the lamest Mania main events of all time. And he didn't fare much better when jobbing to The Undertaker in the main event of the commercial dud that was WrestleMania 13.
