Ever since rumors started spreading that John Cena and Nikki Bella would be teaming up to take on The Miz and Maryse at WrestleMania, fans have been speculating that after the match, Cena will finally propose marriage to his long-time girlfriend. For fans who have followed their often frustrating courtship on E!'s Total Divas, it could potentially be a cathartic moment.
On the other hand, there would be real-life implications to a Cena proposal - mainly, that he'd actually have to get married for the sake of a storyline. On the reality show, Cena is very vocal about the fact that he never wants to get married again (he went through an acrimonious divorce in 2012) and that he never wants to have children, much to Bella's consternation.
