8. Paige Returns

It’s been a turbulent couple of months for Paige. She took a mandatory 30-day suspension after violating WWE’s Wellness Policy last month, but her televised appearances have dwindled greatly this year, and she’d barely featured at all in the months prior to the suspension. Furthermore, there was strong rumors that she was on her way out of WWE when her boyfriend Alberto Del Rio walked-out a few weeks ago, but it looks like her and the company have patched things up for now.

Finally free of her suspension, Paige’s return to WWE programming is imminent. She’s been suffering from a long-standing back issue, and while it’s not been reported whether or not she’s been medically cleared to return, Paige was backstage at Raw this week. By all accounts, Paige is coming back to WWE TV very, very soon, and Raw’s women’s division could definitely use her help.

It’s being suggested that she’ll show-up tonight, even if it’s unclear what her role in the division’s future will be. While Charlotte, Bayley, and Sasha Banks are among the company’s best performers, there’s a huge talent drop-off further down the rankings, and Paige would provide an immediate boon for the red brand. Returning on Raw’s first brand-specific PPV would be a great way to make an impact.
