Dolph Ziggler finds himself in a fairly odd position heading into Elimination Chamber.

He’ll be squaring off against both Kalisto and Apollo Crews in two-on-one handicap action, meaning it’s one heel versus two faces—an unfair fight, and one in which the odds are clearly in favour of the good guys.

That presents a bit of a conundrum. Does Ziggler come out and put in a brave fight before ultimately coming up short? Probably not, what with the recent heel turn and all. Alternatively, do Kalisto and Crews get revenge on Ziggler for his recent chair-laden attacks and hand him a beating of their own? Again, you wouldn’t have thought so, as that’s hardly model babyface behaviour.

All things considered, this one looks headed for a screwy finish that both protects Kalisto and Crews as babyfaces and further establishes Ziggler in this new role as a heel. Having Ziggler lose after evening up the odds with a steel chair would be the perfect way of achieving that—plus, it’s entirely in keeping with the backstory that led to this match in the first place.
