10 Last-Minute WWE Extreme Rules 2017 Rumours You Need To Know
7. Rich Swann Turns Heel
It's been a tough several months for Rich Swann. After losing the Cruiserweight Championship to Neville, he was sidelined with an injury. Things arguably got worse when he came back, as he's been a part of the much-maligned love triangle storyline on 205 Live.
Now, Sasha Banks has joined Swann, and the two former champs will be taking on Alicia Fox and Noam Dar at Extreme Rules. Both Banks and Swann deserve better and could probably use a heel turn to get back on track. Given that Banks's eventually heel turn should probably come at Bayley's expense, that leaves Swann as the candidate to leave his partner high and dry.
A heel turn by Swann would balance the sides in the cruiserweight division and allow him to challenge Austin Aries if Aries beats Neville for the title (more on that later). At the same time, though, this wouldn't be the best place for it, as Swann certainly won't be wrestling Banks any time soon.
