10 Last-Minute WWE Money In The Bank 2017 Rumours You Need To Know
8. Shinsuke Nakamura Wins The Money In The Bank Match
After a year in NXT and two runs with the brand's championship, Shinsuke Nakamura finally debuted on the main roster just after WrestleMania. For most fans, it was a long-overdue introduction to the 37-year-old "King of Strong Style."
Since his debut, though, most analysts who have followed Nakamura's career since his New Japan days have been disappointed with his use. Rather than be booked to accentuate his strengths, he's been in promo segments and he spent his debut match selling for Dolph Ziggler. While it's certainly too early to call his WWE run a flop, the jury's very much out on what should have been an easy home run (thanks, mixed metaphors).
Nakamura will be part of the Money in the Bank ladder match, and a win would certainly propel him up the card. That said, it seems a bit too obvious for the super-hyped superstar to claim victory - especially since he pulled down the briefcase on Smackdown this past week. Add that to the fact that the briefcase goes better on a heel, and a Nakamura win is a long shot.
