10 Last-Minute WWE No Mercy 2017 Rumours You Need To Know
1. The Raw Tag Team Titles Stay Put
Last month, the reconciliation between former Shield members Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose finally paid off, as the two men defeated Sheamus and Cesaro to win the Raw Tag Team Titles. This month, Shesaro are cashing in their rematch clause in an attempt to become three-time champions.
Good luck to them on that count. A Rollins/Ambrose victory seemed like a sure thing heading into SummerSlam, and now that they have the belts, there's even less of a chance that they'll be losing. The story of Rollins earning Ambrose's trust once again has been told well, and now, both men need to spend the next several months growing closer and closer as they dominate their competition and retain the belts.
That needed storyline development - plus the fact that Sheamus is supposed to be leaving soon in order to film a role in a WWE Studios movie - pretty much guarantees that the former Shield members will be victorious. It may be obvious, but it's not bad - and with any luck, they'll still be champs when The Revival return, because that would be quite the showdown.
