5. The Hardy Boyz End Up On The Card

The Hardy Boyz may be painfully stale - at least until WWE can secure the rights to the "broken" gimmick - but they're still stars who get quite the pop, which is a rarity in the company. So why aren't they on the No Mercy card?

Matt and Jeff factored into the feud over the Raw Tag Team Titles, facing champions Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose in a non-title match and later taking part in an eight-man match involving both teams and Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Still, the title match remains a simple two-on-two affair pitting the champs against Shesaro.

So where does that leave The Hardy Boyz on this more-A-than-B show? Well, given that there are only seven matches announced thus far and there's a full PPV and kickoff show, it wouldn't be surprising to see Matt and Jeff added to the card. Even if they take on Gallows and Anderson, it probably makes sense to include them. Either that, or have them get involved in the tag title match somehow.
