1. The House Of Horrors Match Will Be Partially Pre-Taped
The long program between Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton has had its highs and its lows, to put it mildly, but it all comes to an end at Payback in what, potentially, could be the very lowest low of them all.
The two will clash in the first-ever "House of Horrors" match, which will reportedly see Orton and Wyatt battle from the ruins of the Wyatt Family compound (which was apparently in San Jose) into the arena before fighting to a finish in the ring. Holding even part of a match outside in the dimly-lit wilderness could be a disaster, and if the bugs we saw at WrestleMania are any indication, things may not get better when they get indoors.
Fortunately, though, WWE has a chance to make it work. If the first part of the match will take place outside the arena, then it can be pre-taped - much like the initial portion of the Boiler Room Brawl was at SummerSlam 1996. That might allow for some judicious use of lighting, editing, and reshooting, which could keep the whole thing from being a total disaster.
It's still possible that WWE could just set up a shack nearby and do the whole thing live, but odds are they'll take advantage of the small opportunity for success they've allowed themselves.
