10 Last-Minute WWE Royal Rumble 2017 Predictions

The Royal Rumble is an absolute gold mine when it comes to records and statistics, and one such record that we could soon see broken is that of the longest cumulative time spent in Royal Rumble matches.

Currently, Triple H stands at the top of that list having spent a total of 3:59:37 in Rumble action throughout his long career. However, the Game hasn’t been announced for this year’s match, and though he could still make a surprise appearance, we may be better off looking at the name behind him in second place on that list of total time spent in the match-up over the years.

With 3:55:59 on his Rumble résumé, Chris Jericho is both awfully close to usurping Triple H and, crucially, has actually been announced as a participant in this year’s match.

Jericho's typically been pretty reliable when it comes to delivering lengthy stints in the Rumble match, so I’d expect to not only see him overtake Triple H’s total, but also become the first man in history to have spent a grand total of four hours in Royal Rumble action.
