8. Roman Reigns Becomes Universal Champion
From a creative perspective, it's hard to call Kevin Owens's Universal Title run anything but a flop. After getting the belt in a manner which didn't put him over at all, Owens spent a few months in a horribly-booked feud with Seth Rollins, then spent a few months in a horribly-booked feud with Roman Reigns.
The Reigns program is coming to a head on Sunday, and while many have expected "The Guy" to once again reign as champion following a brief excursion to the midcard, it just seems too obvious. Reigns is the world-beater who never loses - so in a no-DQ match where he can't get screwed over, and with Owens's only friend removed from the equation, it seems like there's no way he can not become champ, right?
Like I said, it's all a bit... there. WWE likes to swerve fans in occasions like these, and this won't be any exception. Reigns is rumored to be facing Braun Strowman at WrestleMania, and that bout certainly won't need the Universal Title on the line. As for the red belt, I'm expecting something else entirely...
