7. Randy Orton Wins
Earlier this week, fans were surprised to hear that betting odds on several websites had swung to indicate that Randy Orton was the favorite to win the Royal Rumble match. After that news broke, even more fans put money on Orton, making the odds skew even further in his favor.
According to the theory, Orton - who has been a member of The Wyatt Family for a couple of months, but seems to be a part of the unit just so he can foment dissension from within - will win the Rumble match, then Bray Wyatt will capture the WWE Championship in the Elimination Chamber. At some point, Orton will reveal his duplicity, making him and Wyatt mortal enemies once again. Conveniently, they'll also be heading for a WrestleMania main event faceoff.
There are a few problems with the scenario. Firstly, the smart betting money doesn't come in until the day of the event, so odds favoring Orton don't mean too much. Secondly, putting the title on the line in the Orton-Wyatt match doesn't do the WWE Championship any favors. More than likely, we'll just see that match on WrestleMania's midcard, without any belts involved.
