10 Last-Minute WWE Survivor Series 2016 Predictions
8. Samoa Joe Debut
Of course, an Undertaker appearance isn’t the only conclusion that people have been speculatively jumping to. There’s also been gossip—perhaps more out of hope than anything else—regarding a possible debut for NXT powerhouse Samoa Joe.
And though there isn’t any concrete evidence to suggest this will be the case, I’m willing to go out on a limb here and say that Survivor Series 2016 could be the scene for Joe’s big main roster debut.
I’ll admit that part of this prediction is born out of wishful thinking, but there’s also a certain degree of logic to it.
With Joe challenging for the NXT Title on Saturday night, you’d expect that to mark the end of his 12-month affiliation with the main event scene in developmental. Naturally the only place to turn after that would be the bright lights of the company's main roster programming, and having Joe debut by interfering in the ten-man elimination bout would certainly make for an impactful arrival. Although, not quite as impactful as a possible role in the Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg main event…
Okay, now I’m definitely getting ahead of myself here. I’ll settle for a Samoa Joe debut no matter what form it arrives in.
