7. Team Raw Win The Women's Match
Earlier I went with a Team SmackDown win in the men’s elimination match, based largely on the logic of 50/50 booking. And for the very same reasons I’m going to go the other way for the women’s match and predict a Team Raw victory for Charlotte and company.
Just 24 hours after SmackDown’s men’s team invaded Raw, the women of Monday nights were repaying the favour by encroaching onto SmackDown’s turf during Nikki Bella’s clash with Carmella.
A five-on-one beat-down on Nikki ensued with Team Raw in the ascendancy, before the SmackDown cavalry eventually arrived to even up the odds. From there, it was the hosts who cleaned house to send Raw’s women scampering, though that might have had something to do with the fact that coach Natalya gave them an ever-so-slight numbers advantage...
Even so, I’m still going to take that as an omen that Team Raw will get their own back come Sunday at Survivor Series, and knock off Team SmackDown to make it one apiece in the battle for brand supremacy.
