5. AJ Styles Becomes WWE World Heavyweight Champion

Last month at Payback, AJ Styles defeated Roman Reigns twice. First, Reigns was counted out after Styles hit him with a Phenomenal Forearm through the announcers' table, then Reigns was disqualified after accidentally nailing Styles with a low blow. Both times the match was restarted, and Reigns ended up picking up the clean win with a Spear.

This time the match will be an Extreme Rules bout, so presumably only one finish will be necessary. Given that this is likely going to be the blowoff of the program, we can expect something major to happen - does that mean Styles actually has a shot at winning the title from Reigns?

It's unlikely, but I'm not willing to say it's impossible - not like it was last month. WWE invested a lot into Reigns and I expect him to have a lengthy run as champ, but still, we could get a swerve, and Styles could come away with a victory to give some credibility to The Club. After all, Rollins's return and Balor's debut aren't happening.

It's a definite longshot - I wouldn't put money on it - but there's always a chance. Right?
