10 Last-Minute WWE Money In The Bank 2016 Rumors You Need To Know
6. Dean Ambrose Wins The Briefcase
Dean Ambrose's WWE career has been a series of ups and downs - typically, those "ups" bring him within spitting distance of the company's top echelon, then a major "down" makes fans feel silly for having ever believed in him. It happened when he feuded with Seth Rollins for the WWE Title last year, it happened when he made it to the finals of the championship tournament at Survivor Series, and it happened when he took on Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.
Lately, Ambrose and WWE have done a good job of making him look like a serious contender to the Money in the Bank briefcase. It was made explicit this past week on Raw, when "The Lunatic Fringe" got between his feuding ex-partners and warned them that no matter which one of them captures the title, he'll be waiting with the briefcase.
How likely is he to actually win, though? Ambrose coming down with the case would be the easiest way to get to a Shield triple threat match, but there are other routes there, too. Given that the Money in the Bank briefcase usually goes to a heel, an Ambrose victory is still a longshot.
