10 Leading Contenders To Win 2021 WWE Money In The Bank Ladder Matches
9. Aleister Black
Aleister Black was the victim of attempted murder at last year's Money in the Bank pay-per-view, so perhaps he'll want to steer clear of the match this year around, but his inclusion wouldn't be a surprise.
'The Dutch Destroyer' recently had his first return vignette aired on SmackDown, having been off television since the middle of October. His new character looks f*cking mint, and WWE appear to be doing something with him now, so hey, it's a possibility.
Like with Nikki Cross, the former Tommy End has floundered in the company since departing NXT, aside from some bangers with Cesaro and Kevin Owens. Needless to say, the guy has been arguably WWE's biggest missed opportunity of the last five years. That changes in 2021.
If WWE are willing to put in the effort to give him a whole new character - albeit still a dark, menacing persona - and produce a series of return vignettes for him as opposed to just having him show up on a random SmackDown episode, then the future looks good for him. He's easily one of the main roster's more gifted in-ring talents, so just let the guy do his thing in a main event-level storyline. Your writer has missed the Black Mass more than he'd like to admit.
