7. Drew McIntyre

WWE don't appear to be done with their Drew McIntyre experiment quite yet, and rightfully so. He's been the guy to lead WWE through the pandemic era, was a thoroughly enjoyable WWE Champion in both reigns, and has had some great outings post-champion as well.

Of course they're not giving up on him yet.

A Money in the Bank win for the guy might seem a bit too much at the time of writing, particularly as his two reigns both came in the last year, the fact he had a WWE Championship opportunity vs. Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania, and is currently due for another Lashley showdown at 'Mania Backlash in May with added Braun Strowman. Still, he seems right for the role.

Even if Drew isn't successful in his cash-in, it feels like the most logical step for him going forward, presuming he fails to dethrone 'The Almighty' at the next pay-per-view. His promo work has been some of the best WWE has seen in recent years as he's legitimately speaking from the heart; a slip of the tongue swear word on Raw Talk exemplified this.

He entered the 2019 bout and had a whale of a time suplexing folk into and through ladders. Drew was a highlight of that match for a reason; have him repeat that.
