10 Least Anticipated WWE Returns

9. Kevin Nash

Nash's return in 2002 as part of the NWO is arguably one of the most anticipated in the history of the WWE. Even his 2003 return and feud with Triple H for Raw's World Heavyweight Championship is considered a relative success. But his 2011 return as part of The Game's rivalry with CM Punk has to go down as an unadulterated flop. No one wanted him there in the first place and he didn't add anything that a current member of the roster couldn't have contributed. In all fairness, the booking wasn't kind to Big Daddy Cool as he was thrust into an angle that didn't need him. His inclusion ultimately killed Punk's momentum. Nash returned at SummerSlam in August, attacking CM Punk after he became WWE Champion which allowed Alberto Del Rio to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase. If that's all he did as part of the bigger picture in the HHH/Punk rivalry, then that would have been just dandy. Nash certainly outstayed his welcome by contributing many mind-numbingly boring promos in the weeks to come. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxMqu2upccw
