10 Legends Who Shockingly Invaded ECW

6. Scott Hall

Scott Hall had fallen on hard times by the year 2000. He had already been battling his various addictions for nearly a decade. Furthermore, his wife filed for divorce in 1998, citing his inability to control his drug and alcohol use. To add insult to injury, WCW had decided to utilize Hall€™s personal problems as a part of his on-screen character. In February, following the Superbrawl 2000, Hall was released from World Championship Wrestling. By the end of the year, in November, the former Razor Ramon made two surprise appearances in the land of Extreme. Unfortunately, neither was televised, as Hall appeared at two subsequent house shows on the 10th and 11th. On the first night, Hall competed against the Full Blooded Italians€™ Big Sal. The following night, he wrestled a more high profile contest. Together with Jerry Lynn, Hall was victorious over Justin Credible and Rhino -- two of ECW€™s top stars at the time. Unfortunately for fans, Hall would depart the company after the weekend. Still, it was quite a shock for one of the founders of the New World Order to compete inside an ECW ring.
