10 Lessons WWE Should Have Learned Over WrestleMania 35 Weekend

6. 7 Hours Is Way Too Long For A Wrestling Show

It pains me to say this but the last two hours of WrestleMania 35 were dead. People tried, repeatedly, to rouse themselves for Angle's retirement, for the appearance of the Demon, and for Becky's historic win, but it was no good. After sitting through 6 hours that had peaked with Kofi and one of the most emotional WrestleMania moments of all time, they had nothing left to give.

Obviously WWE needs to accommodate all their stars, their title matches, and their stories, but if you require a 7+ hour show to do that then you need to change something. Either put the event on over two days, or come up with a way to cram the matches into a considerably shorter show. No matter how strong your desire is to drag things out, sometimes enough is just enough.

Look, I'll prove it, I'll end this entry at 150 words.
