CM Punk's tattoos have become almost as famous as he is since they embody his character and his real-life persona away from the ring. Probably the most prominent tattoo is the Pepsi logo on his left arm. When asked about the tattoo, Punk will usually reply "I like Pepsi," which is really is most basic and awesome reason to get a tattoo. Punk also has the words "Straight Edge" tattooed on his stomach which many fans now know represents his strict mantra of being alcohol-free and drug-free. Many credit CM Punk with bringing the Straight Edge lifestyle to wrestling fans, many of whom were completely unaware of that way of life before Punk. Punk also has "Luck is for losers" tattooed on his arm alongside a rabbit's foot, a four-leaf clover, and a horseshoe. His trainer, Ace Steele, also receives a tribute in his particular tattoo courtesy of an ace of spades playing card. Another tribute appears on the back of his left hand which reads "No Gimmicks Needed" in representation of the late Chris Candido. A green and white wrestling boot also appears on Punk as a tribute to the great Japanese wrestler Mitsuharu Misawa. Punk also has various G.I. Joe tattoos to represent his love for that particular comic book, sporting the Cobra Command logo on his shoulder. Behind his ear, Punk sports a number 31 for his little sister who wore the number when she played softball. Punk's love of tattoos is apparent and all represent some part of Punk's personality. As any tattoo lover will tell you, the art is an extension of your personality and certainly CM Punk is no different.
