9. Bad News
The first bout on the show saw The New Day defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against The League Of Nations' Sheamus and King Barrett.
The New Day retained the belts in a good match, scoring the pin on Barrett. After the bout, Sheamus claimed that The League was being held back by a weak link, then nailed Barrett with a Brogue Kick, excommunicating him from the group.
The fans, of course, were wise to the fact that Barrett is rumoured to be leaving the company in June, and they serenaded the King of the Ring with Steam's "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye" both before and after Sheamus's attack.
I couldn't help but wonder, though, is this the last we've seen of Barrett? Common logic would dictate that he take revenge on his former teammates, but WWE wouldn't be above keeping Barrett off TV until his contract expires in an attempt to put him out of fans' minds prior to his potential arrival elsewhere.
