9. Lights Off . Shut Up.
I’ve been to dozens of independent shows over the years, as well as WWE pay-per-views, and house shows, along with TNA and ROH live events, even a Nitro and Thunder, but somehow have never been to Raw.
I probably should have known exactly what they did during commercial breaks, but I wasn’t quite sure, and it was even more boring than I thought!
Basically, a wrestler comes out, they suddenly turn off his/her music, turn off the lights and then show videos on the screen. That’s it. Back when I saw Nitro in the Target Center during the company’s dying days, someone at least came out to try and get the audience hyped up for when the show was about to come back from break. WWE basically brings you down, and makes you watch horrendously boring videos. This takes up a good 40 minutes of your night in total.
