10 Live Observations From Attending WWE SmackDown Live In Manchester

2. Tyson Fury Had His Best Reception Yet

After some fairly muted reactions in his handful of WWE appearances so far, Friday night saw Tyson Fury get his biggest crowd reaction to date.

Of course, The Gypsy King was in his hometown of Manchester, so it was always odds on that he'd be warmly received by those in attendance. But likewise, being in his hometown also seemed to bring the best out of Fury on the mic.

Granted, Tyson Fury, one of boxing's greatest promo guys, didn't all of a sudden become the second coming of The Rock on Friday, but he did appear a whole lot more comfortable on the mic than he has in any of his other WWE appearances.

While the crowd was fully behind Fury and treated him like a star, even the in-the-moment audience couldn't help but notice how awful one of the punches he threw at Bo Dallas was. Wherever you were sat in the Manchester Arena, it was painfully obvious that Fury's punch completely missed the mark and didn't even graze Bo.

Still, the crowd was into Tyson Fury, which is a positive sign should those rumours of him having a WrestleMania match come true.
