2. EC3 Can't Keep A Secret
Prior to EVOLVE 61, Drew Galloway took to Twitter to announce that he had a major surprise for Johnny Gargano at the show, something that would dwarf the WWE Cruiserweight Classic matches taking place. It turned out that Galloway wasn't just blowing smoke - the TNA Heavyweight Champion had recruited co-worker Ethan Carter III to help him in a full-blown invasion.
Carter's appearance (and subsequent run-in in the main event, drawing a disqualification) was a total shock - or it would have been, were it not for the fact that he could be seen standing near the entranceway during the show, watching parts of various matches. Many fans were able to see EC3 as he checked out the show, with some shouting his name.
I was actually sitting only a few feet away from where EC3 was standing for a good portion of the show, so I (and the people near me) could see his interference in the main event coming a mile away. The angle was still cool, but had Carter stayed backstage, it would have been a lot more exciting.
