10 Live Observations From ICW's Fear And Loathing VIII

9. Viper Returns To Win The ICW Women's Championship

For the last 12 months, the New Age Kilq (NAK) have been one of the most devastating factions in ICW. Their head honcho Chris Renfrew carries about a briefcase that essentially works the exact same as Money In The Bank and he cunningly convinced babyface female wrestler Kay Lee Ray to join the NAK with her boyfriend and ICW Zero G Champ, Stevie Boy.

Recently in Nottingham, Kay Lee Ray was competing in a semi final tournament match with Viper to determine ICW€™s first Women€™s Champ when the NAK got involved and cost Viper the match and her spot in the tournament.

As the finals of the tournament were about to kick off at Fear & Loathing with Nikki Storm and KLR, the Commissioner for the evening, Mick Foley, came out and (in the interest of fairness) made the match a three way dance and brought Viper out to get her opportunity.

Viper is an exceptional female talent. She isn€™t your typical Women€™s wrestler in terms of her look or her size but she is presented as a beast in the ring and, importantly, carries herself like a pro outside the ring.

When she managed to hook the other two women into a double pinfall to be crowned ICW€™s first Women€™s Champion, the SECC erupted. The fanbase wanted the woman behind Viper to know how much they respected her and how deserving she is to carry the Championship.
