A six-man tag team match during the first half of the show saw Primo and Epico team up with Erick Rowan to face off against Luke Harper, Chad Gable, and Sami Zayn.

Surprisingly, despite the fact that it felts as though they were just sort of haphazardly thrown together backstage, the latter team actually gelled quite well. (The same can't really be said for Rowan and the Colóns, however.)

Looking at Harper, Gable, and Zayn in this match, you'd think they'd been teaming together for ages. Harper was the decided fan-favorite, even getting "we want Harper" chants at one point when he was on the apron, and continued to prove that he is one of the soundest workers on the roster.

Meanwhile, Gable displayed the technical prowess that made him and his former partner, Jason Jordan, NXT standouts. Plus, Zayn did what he does best and brought a certain amount of raw energy to the team.

It was also Zayn who would ultimately pick up the win, hitting Epico with a helluva kick for the pinfall.
