9. Baron Corbin Is... Popular?!

The Baron Corbin-Dolph Ziggler feud had its blowoff (hopefully) on the Extreme Rules pre-show as the two men met in a no disqualification match. This was their fourth bout so far - first, the two fought to a double countout on the Raw after WrestleMania, though Corbin decimated Dolph. At the Payback pre-show, Dolph won with a surprise roll-up. Corbin got revenge with a win on Raw, then sewed up the feud with a victory on Sunday.

The match wasn't anything special, and the whole "no DQ" stipulation only came up a single time. At the end, Dolph had Corbin in a precarious position, but "The Lone Wolf" nailed "The Showoff" with a blatant low blow, then hit the End of Days to pick up the win.

None of that was surprising; what was a bit of a shock, though, was the reaction Corbin got. People popped for him when his music hit, and even though Dolph's arrival got a better reaction, more and more people were supporting Corbin as the match went on.

It's sad that Dolph, one of WWE's most talented workers, has been booked so poorly that he can't maintain fan support, but fair's fair - for whatever reason, people really liked Corbin. I don't get it, but that's what happened.
