On a show with three of the top women in WWE, Cesaro, The Uso's and other talented stars, it's quite the feat to have the match of the night but Roman and Sheamus managed to pull it off.

When Roman entered the Hydro, I'd say the reaction was 50/50 for the former Shield enforcer but thanks to Sheamus' brilliant heel promo, the dynamic of the match was set and we were off to the races.

The first half of the bout was slow and methodical as Sheamus worked over the WWE World Heavyweight Champion but ultimately it was all a set up for the big finishing sequence.

Sheamus hit a brogue kick for one of the closest near falls I've seen at a WWE house show in quite a while, before Roman hit a powerful spear on the League Of Nations leader to retain his championship.

Roman proved that while his character might not be fully connecting with the audience, he's still able to put on a good main event match and build to a hot finish.

As Reigns retained his title, most fans seemed to leave the Hydro happy with the night's entertainment.

WWE return to Glasgow this November to record RAW and SmackDown for the first time in history.
