When we realised the main event was going to be Roman Reigns against Sheamus, I'll be honest and say we weren't particularly excited about it. After all, we've seen the match so many times on TV already that it just felt like a bog standard main event.

Luckily, Sheamus had his working boots on and decided to launch a tirade towards Scotland which was so masterful that he won us over and got us invested in the bout.

He kicked off by talking about how happy he was to be in Scotland which he want on to describe as the dumber, weaker brother of Ireland as thousands of people booed him like their life depended on it.

Then for the main event of insults, The Celtic Warrior talked about how Scotland had the chance to go independent and they didn't take it. He claimed "People have been saying I look stupid, you lot had the chance to get independence and you didn't even take it, how stupid is that?!"

By this point the crowd were more excited about seeing Roman Reigns than they had been all night. It was a simple, logical promo about current political issues in Scotland and Sheamus nailed it.

He should be given a tonne of credit for how he riled up the Scottish crowd.
