10 Live Observations From WWE Las Cruces
9. Becky Lynch Is The People's Women's Champion

In the second of the night's four title matches, the SmackDown Women's Championship was defended in a fatal five way match, pitting the champ, Alexa Bliss, against Natalya, Naomi, Carmella and, of course, Becky Lynch.
The match itself was a lot of fun, if a bit short. Becky and Naomi ran rampant on the heels to open the match before engaging in a friendly contest of their own, Natalya got a loud pop while locking in the Sharpshooter, James Ellsworth continued to make a fool of himself in support of Carmella, and Bliss played an excellent cowardly heel. This tactic would prove effective, as when the dust settled, she emerged as the victor, in what would eventually prove to be her last successful title defense.
The key thing to note about this match, however, is that of all the women involved, none got quite as thunderous an ovation as the Irish Lass Kicker herself, Becky Lynch. She was the first to make her entrance, and the pop she got was far louder than that of anyone who came after. Upon the finish, she received loud chants of her name while heading to the back.
Becky is still red hot in the eyes of the fans, and you could tell that despite the telegraphed result, fans would still very much like to see the belt back on Becky sooner rather than later. And considering Naomi's win to claim the title the following night at Elimination Chamber, it seems like the title picture is being shaken up a bit already.
