10 Live Observations From WWE Raw Live From Detroit

6. That Zayn/Owens/Cesaro Triangle

Sami Zayn came out to do commentary, and predictably Kevin Owens didn't want to come out until Zayn was gone. Makes sense. But Owens and Zayn fight on the ramp. Then Owens gets to the ring and Zayn is escorted out. Again, makes sense.

Vinny Mac got a huge cheap pop when he shows up in a limo and praises Detroit on the TitanTron. He said he'll decide on the Smackdown GM tonight. Okay. I'll take it.

By the time Cesaro makes his way down, it occurs to me that Owens has been out there a long time. I know this happens, but watching it live is strange. Owens just sat on the top turnbuckle for what must have been at least 7 minutes. Also, Cesaro's strength is even more impressive in person. The guy picked up Owens while he was lying down. Owens put on JBL's hat too! Not sure if they showed it on tv, but it was fun. (Cesaro wore it later).

I'm guessing this was dark because it happened during a long count-out segment. It's a good match with some solid spots and near-falls. Owens knows how to put on a show. The guy isn't afraid to take a bump. Neither is Cesaro.

These matches should never go dark. Owens wins the match, yet I wonder how far Cesaro would go if he could say stuff on the mic. Both deserve bigger pushes. Best match tonight by far.

Also, Zayn ran RIGHT past me to attack Owens! Mark out! Mark out!
