10 LIVE Observations From WWE WrestleMania 35

8. Beast Slayer

The Seth Rollins Vs. Brock Lesnar angle-cum-match got over in the stadium, but of the three matches designed to trigger euphoria among the core fanbase, this generated the quietest reaction.

I would heartily recommend watching Brock Lesnar live, if you get the chance. Looking at a heavily mic'd ring from a great distance undermines the legitimacy and brutal intimacy of the pro wrestling spectacle, and yet the sheer length Lesnar threw him across the ring helped both the view and the drama of Seth's gutsy struggle. As foreshadowed on RAW, Seth Rollins blasted Brock Lesnar in the balls after suffering an illegal assault at Lesnar's mercenary hands. A turnabout-is-fair-play finish served the storyline, however: Seth wasn't interested in fighting a Beast in an unplayable game: he used his smarts to end Lesnar's reign of terror in a finish of rich poetic justice.

Can't wait for RAW to magically get good again!
